His vision is for healthcare providers to explore Prolotherapy and regenerative medicine solutions before surgical options for better patient outcomes. 

Dr. Woznica, MD, MS uses ultrasound-guided Prolotherapy, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), and stem cell injections to provide pain relief to patients.  

Dr. Woznica received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut, followed by a Master of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from The University of Connecticut. 

He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia & Cornell in Manhattan, which included training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as well as at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He obtained a fellowship in Spine & Sports Medicine at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago/Northwestern-McGaw School of Medicine.

After completing fellowship Dr. Woznica became the Head Spine Physiatrist (fiz-eye-a-trist) of the Yale New Haven Spine Center in Connecticut where he treated patients in need of either epidural (spine) or various tendon/joint injections. In addition to treating patients, he took on the lead physician role in developing a standardized physical therapy model for Yale’s Center for Musculoskeletal Care.

Dr. Woznica is double board certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, in both Physiatry (PM&R) as well
as in Sports Medicine. He is a musculoskeletal ultrasound instructor with
the World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography (WAPMU) and believes that ultrasound is a wonderful tool to help identify and treat patients’ areas of pain and dysfunction by optimizing the delivery of Regenerative Cellular treatments, Nerve Release Injection Therapy (NRIT) and Prolotherapy.
